The judges of the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin have appointed Chad Elgersma to continue in the position of United States Attorney under 28 U.S.C. § 546(d). Mr. Elgersma had served on an interim basis under an appointment by the Attorney General. Mr. Elgersma will continue to serve on the basis of this judicial appointment until the vacancy is filled through the nomination process. A related order is available here.
