Important Notice: Changes to Electronic Access to Sealed Documents
Access to sealed documents is now restricted in CM/ECF and PACER. The courts have taken this action because persistent cyberattacks threaten the security of confidential case documents. Sealed documents must be filed electronically, but they cannot be viewed electronically except by court personnel. Consequently, any party that files a sealed document must serve that document on the other parties by conventional means. A party with the right to access a sealed document may request a copy by contacting the clerk's office.
A related public notice is available here. Electronic filing procedures are available here.
Limited Public Hours Starting on Monday, June 29, 2026
Beginning on Monday, June 29, 2026, the clerk's office will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. While the court itself is open from 8:00 to 4:30, the clerk's office is reducing its public hours. These new, reduced hours apply to in-person visits and telephone calls. A drop-box will be available on the first floor of the courthouse for documents to be filed when the clerk's office is closed. All documents will be filed as of the date received. Filers will not receive courtesy copies of documents deposited in the drop-box.
