Congress has passed legislation authorizing the use of video and telephone conferencing for criminal events during the COVID-19 emergency.  The District Court has issued an administrative order on this topic, available here....

In response to the coronavirus emergency, the court has suspended all jury trials through May 18, 2020. The court has also rescheduled all in-person hearings until after May 18, 2020, subject to case-by-case exceptions justified by extraordinary circumstances....
