The Western District of Wisconsin is currently seeking applicants for two full-time positions, listed below:

 

Case Administrator/Courtroom Deputy

The District Court is seeking a Case Administrator/Courtroom Deputy to work in the clerk's office in Madison.  This position operates in a team environment, handling all aspects of pro se case management, and staffing civil and criminal hearings in the courtroom.  Duties include docketing, customer service, case management, electronic court recording, and courtroom support.  This position is open until filled, with preference given to applications received by December 15, 2019.

IT Security Officer

The court is also seeking an IT Security Officer to serve the Bankruptcy and District Courts, as well as the Office of Probation and Parole.  The successful applicant may work in the federal courthouse in Madison or Eau Claire.  The district is looking for a self-starter who will improve its security posture and collaborate with regional and national stake holders.  Secondary responsibilities include assisting the network administrators by developing standards, recommending network infrastructure changes, and participating in the high-level and long-term design and analysis of the courts’ network systems.  This position is open until filled, with preference given to applications received by January 13, 2020.
