Important Notice: Changes to Electronic Access and Service of Sealed Documents
Starting immediately, most federal courts, including this court, will restrict access to sealed documents. Sealed documents will no longer be viewable through PACER or CM/ECF except by court personnel. This change applies only to sealed documents.
The courts must take this action because sophisticated and persistent cyberattacks threaten the security of confidential case documents. Parties must continue to file sealed documents through CM/ECF as before, but once filed, those documents will be available only to the court. The filing party must serve any sealed document by other means. Parties with the right to access a sealed document may request a copy by contacting the clerk's office.
The court will issue updated Administrative Orders and will revise our Electronic Filing Procedures. For questions regarding this new policy, please contact the clerk’s office by email or by phone at (866) 241-7123. A related public notice is available here.
