Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER)

 

To access cases over the Internet, follow these steps:

 

1. Sign up for a PACER account. Information is available at the PACER Service Center website

2. Use your PACER ID and password to log in at http://pacer.wiwd.uscourts.gov

 

 

Notes about PACER:

 

Date ranges include:

 

  • Civil Cases from January, 1989
  • Criminal Cases from September, 1991
  • Judgments from January, 1987

Docket entries and related documents are available to the public the moment they are filed.
